DDC# 26

Hello!!

It is time for a new challenge at the Double Dutch Challenge again!! This time you've got to make another beautiful sketch from Erica.. And I loved it so much, that I used it three times on the same card ;) It is matching with the triangle box form DDC#25, because it is my brother's birthday-card!! :)

DDC#24 and DDC#25

Hi!!

Woops.. Haven't posted in quite a while.. But here are my takes on the Double Dutch Challenges #24 and #25..
I'm even a day late for the new challenge.. I'm sooo sorry :$:$

Challenge 25 was about the colors pink, brown and cream! They pit perfectly together, so that wasn't really hard ;)

Challenge #25 (the current challenge..) is about your favorite of the past challenges. I've chosen the one about the triangle box, haven't tried it before, but really loved the idea of it! As it is my brothers birthday in no time (really cool date: 09-09-09.. And he's going to be 2x9=18 :), I decided to make him a birthday-box!

DDC #23

Hi!!

Just started this week taking driving lessons.. Kinda scary, I thought, but it is not so bad. The car still isn't bruised and crashed after 3 lessons yet, so I started hoping of never crashing it :o

The new challenge from Double Dutch is about making a Gift Card Holder! Lots of fun to make it, great to give it, and awesome to receive it :)

Dutch Dare #53 & Crafty Creations #20

Hi there!

Today all of my friends got the big news: Graduated or not.. Or maybe after trying one exam again..
Well, they all got the right results!! Which is nice, what to do with all the cards if they didn't :P
Still have to make a few.. And this post is about one of those!
This week the Crafty Creations Challenge is about how the garden is growing, I tried to explain that by the colors and the flowers, as our garden is a bright sea of flowers and green!
The Dutch Dare Challenge is this week about a color inspiration from this picture:

The colors are a bit pale, so I transformed it in happy, bright colors.. But the same ones as in the picture; green, yellow and a little bit of pink!


Have been making this card today in a rush, as I had to give it away tonight.. Totally forgot about my best friend's sister who was graduating too..

DDC #20

Hi!!

Yesterday I found out that I am one of the new DT-members of the Double Dutch Challenge!! I'm so honored to be a part of the team :) Yaaay :)
Do visit the other new DT-members, and the original team ofcourse.. I'm very proud to be one of them, because they all make such a amazing projects!! :D

This time the challenge is about monochromatic cards (with just 1 real color). White isn't really a color, and black isn't one neither, so this one is about the blue!
It's my last card as a participant of this challenge, next week I'm a DT-member! :o

Another graduation card.. Although is is usable as a anniversary card too.

A Spoon Full of Sugar #45

Hi!!

This week the challenge on A Spoon Full of Sugar is all about butterflies.. Yay.. I love butterflies!! Lucky me to have won last week's challenge! :)
It is a graduation card AGAIN.. Still have to make more of em.. But this card can be used as a birthday-card too!

DDC #19 Bookmark

Hi there!

As promised I'm posting something else then a graduation card today. For the Double Dutch Challenge they want us to make a bookmark! Very handy, as I always lose mine and abuse my books like this little sleepy bear!

This one I won't lose as fast as others too! It's quite simple, but well.. Can't get it between pages when you put flowers or buttons on it :)

SSS #3 & Crafty Creations #18

Hi!

This week at the Crafty Creations Challenge it is all about sand and sea! I combined it with the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp and managed to turn it into a graduation card once more.. ;)

Love the little piggy.. Hope a 18-year old guy can appreciate it too :D

A Spoon Full of Sugar #54 & C.R.A.F.T-Challenge #3

Oh wow, I've never received such a amount of comments as for my last card. And to make it ever better, it won the last Polka Doodles Challenge!! Thanks :) (Well.. Shared 1st spot, and maybe it were that many comments because I didn't post anything for too many days.. Sorry..)
This week at A Spoon Full of Sugar they have a gorgeous sketch for us to make and for the C.R.A.F.T-Challenge they want to see a Father's day card in the colors blue and brown, or just a male card in blue and brown. As I'm still making graduation cards, it's one of those again..

And still more of those to come..

C.R.A.F.T #2 & Polka Doodles #2

Hi!!

At Polka Doodles they have another fabulous sketch this week, and again I've made a graduation card with it..
At the C.R.A.F.T-Challenge you are supposed to make something with moving components. It was a real challenge to make something up with that!! And combining a sketch and moving components wasn't easy at all :)

The squares are closed on this photo, but they can open too! It was in fact harder to keep them closed then open them.. Now there is no way for them of opening while I want them closed, because I've tied them with little ribbons :)

Dutch Dare #50

Hi again!!

I've made another graduation card.. If you give one person a card, it's just too sad to ignore the rest ;)
This card is made following the sketch at the Dutch Dare Challenge.. Using a color combo I normally never use, but is a nice combo in my opinion. I'd never guessed, orange isn't really my color!

Crafty Creations #17 & Cupcake Challenge #41

Hi there!

As the theme at Crafty Creations is butterflies, I didn't stand a chance to not enter. I looove butterflies! :D
I combined it with the new Cupcake Crafts Challenge, which is all about the number 2, as in 2 colors, 2 shapes on the card, and 2 pieces of ribbon..

Too bad the picture doesn't show the letters as they are: glassy and sparkly. This card is specially made for a friend of mine.. She has some pink in her blonde hair, that's why the strange pink is in the hair of this sweet girl ;)
